Wow! It's the last day of the first semester!!!
can't wait till the inauguration day.
Well I am not going to continue this class, so I guess I'll see you guys around the school.
I'm going to take art now, so it's like taking creative writing, except drawing...?!

By the way doesn't it bother you that you wanted something real bad, but your mom says, I'll get it to you in 6 months or when you get a good grade. Then when she buys it, you loose interest in it then feel guilty that you used to like it, and waited soooooooooooo long?

This happens to me all the time, doesn't it really bother you?

Saturday IS better than Sunday

Saturday is better than Sunday, and (I hope) everyone agrees with that. On Sundays, many people do their last minute homework, and you would just take the whole day by being stuck on one problem on your math homework. Or you have to take the whole day studying for the test on Monday; I mean what kind of mean teacher gives you a test on Monday? No one would do their home work on Fridays and Saturdays. On Saturdays you can always sleep longer and sleep at any time (, unless your parents are strict). The best part is you don’t have to worry about school!

Have you ever wanted to know what goes on other schools?

In case you haven’t known I went to Thomas Jefferson for 6th grade. Well there’s a lot of difference between the schools.

H-B mornings: hang around, eat breakfasts, then class
TJ mornings: stay outside, go to the library, or eat break fast (and nothing else!) then go to TA

H-B population: 60-90 students in a grade
TJ population: 100-200 students in a grade (divided into two teams)

H-B TAs: Tuesday- workday/free block Friday: fun
TJ TAs: Monday and Tuesday- Reading and Writing day
Wednesday- Team meetings
Thursday- Math day
Friday- Old movies, Sponge bob, or board games

H-B Classes- A, B, C (and so on) 6-8th grade: 4-5 classes 3-4 electives
TJ Classes- 1st period, 2nd period (and so on) 6-8th grade 4-5 classes 2-3 electives

H-B Free times: FREE BLOCK!!!!!!
TJ Free times: Board Games, Magazines, read

H-B Sports: Ultimate Frisbee, High school sports
TJ Sports: Basketball, soccer, track, diving, swimming, wrestling, tennis, high school

H-B Lunch: eat anytime 11:30-12:30, anywhere
TJ Lunch: eat for 20 min, get called on to go into lunch line, sit only where you are...

H-B Team names: 6th grade team, 7th grade team, etc
TJ Team names: Turbo Tigers, Dolphins, Eagles, Gators (aka g@#-tors), etc.

H-B mottos/ programs: Verbum Sap Sat
TJ mottos/programs: International Baccalaureate [World School]

Key: () = classes must take
H-B Electives: Art, PE, Creative Writing, LEGO Robotics, Rockets, Spanish, German, French, Latin, Orchestra, Band, Chorus, Drama, Photo, Multi- media, etc.
TJ electives: Hilt Program (Round) (PE)
Students opt #1: Round, (PE), and (Language)
Students opt #2: Orchestra or Band, (PE), (Language)

Round is taking different classes every month and you have to take all these classes:
Spanish, French, Home Economy, Art, Computers, and etc.

Have you ever seen these? These are wierd real US currencies called Bunny Bucks. You can actually use these money. The picture of the bunny is creepy though. It looks like they are staring right at you. My mom gave my brother one of these money. He thoought is was fake so I looked it up a few days ago. Apparently these are real. It's usually worth 2$ hiding Thomas Jefferson. To use this, you have to take off the bunny seal, which is currently unknown to me. The company made these for easter. But why? I do not no. Oh, well.

As I walk through the empty aisle dullness of the corridor surrounds me as I move through the darkness.

As I went inside I see drapes, depressed, giving me a gloomy feeling.

The curtain gave me speckles of light flowing through the curtains.

I heard faint crying.

The darkness of the room was giving me a creepy feeling, as if someone was watching me from a distance.

As I moved closer I could hear it shrieking, as if it was trying to escape the feeling of stress it was giving me now.

I moved one step back, trying to find the imposter who was giving all this tension.

The voice came louder and louder! My heart was beating faster and faster!

I have to escape from whatever it was.

This felling wasn’t worth being waited for, now.

This is not something you’d want to be eager for.

There is only one word that could describe this awful feeling.

This feeling is unpleasant.

People stayed up all night watching the presidential election. Ugh...it's finally over. Obama won! H-B peoples are happy that he won Virginia. I personally didn't care about the election until today morning. (I was not one of the people who stayed up.) When I was told Obama won, I knew this was going to be an important event of the history...well I still didn't care. But then I remember what my friend told me the other day...Obama will be shot from the KKK or the Nazi followers; then Joe Biden will die form cancer; then John McCain will die from old age; then Sara Palin will be impeached or something. He must have really joked, there is a lot of him going against Democrats, but he's still negative on the republicans. That was just one depressing, useless thing.
What's surprising is that Obama won by so many votes. On Monday McCain was just about 50 electoral votes away. People ages between ages 18-29 mostly voted for Obama. Yay again. Well we know what to expect form him, until then I should learn to care. (I never wrote this much)

As a man walked out of his work
He headed toward the dark valley
He gripped his windbreaker tighter and tighter
And continued to walk mildly

The wind blew and blew
He began gazing
Soon he saw something up ahead
And kept dazing

After a moment of silence, he continued walking
He tripped over something that was not gigantic
And fell forward and lost conscience
And when he woke he was paraplegic

He called for help

His legs swelled

A minute later he heard sirens
He shouted a final shriek
The sirens came closer
And something peeked

There have been a lot of tensions between two siblings: the older one and the younger one. They are always mostly the opposite. But the important question is which side is better? Since I am the oldest of my family, so of course I’m on the older side! We take most of the responsibility. We break up fights. We get the blame when younger siblings break something. We take more chances on them. But these are just some minor things. WE should have more credits!
What's your choice?

I hate science fair projects. They are time consuming and annoying sometimes.

Some choices from last years were:

-and few others

Not all of them will be available and few others will also be added.
These short descriptions are known from other readers or from myself

Red Scarf Girl-Auto-biography about a life in a Communist country in China
Silent to the bone-A story about a boy who wouldn't speak because of an incident
Night-Another auto-biography of a time of the Holocaust (challenging book)
Animal Farm-A story that is reflected from a time of Hitler's control (challenging book)
Speak-A story about a girl in sophomore would not confess about an incident during the summer.

Speak was not the book I've read for the choice, but I read it afterwards. It was a very vivid and strong book. But Animal Farm and Night were some of the hits for the choice.
